Enjoy the most aromatic and delicious of all the green teas with our premium, traditional Japanese Sencha, the most consumed tea in all of Japan.
Often used in Japanese tea ceremonies, sencha leaves have a distinctive glossy look and feel that provide a rich and full flavour.
INGREDIENTS: Premium Sencha Green Tea
ORIGIN: Kagoshima Prefecture, Japan (Grown 200 - 1000ft above sea level)
LEAVES: Traditional steamed, pan fried & polished Sencha green leaves

HOW TO MAKE THE PERFECT CUP
Add your sencha leaves to a teapot (one tsp per cup)
Add near-boiling water to each cup and let it cool down for 2 minutes
Pour the water from cups into the teapot
Brew for 1-2 minutes and serve
WHY CANT I USE BOILING WATER?
If you use boiling water, it will release high levels of caffeine and catechins that are bitter in flavour. The amino acids in green tea are sufficiently soluble to release the sweet and umami flavours they carry at lower temperatures.
HOW TO STORE
Store in an airtight container away from light, moisture and strong odours.
Do not freeze.
