EVE WINS THE DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL AWARD FOR HER NEW LANDSCAPE WORK


Selected to exhibit in the Derbyshire Open Exhibition at Buxton Museum & Art Gallery…

Each year Buxton Museum and Art Gallery invites artists, both professional and amateur, to capture aspects of life and landscape in Derbyshire, illustrating what makes Derbyshire special to them.

Artist and illustrator Andrea Joseph, gallery owner Isla Dawes, Matt Edwards curator of Art of Derby museums and Carol Jones, from the friends of Buxton Museum and Art Gallery looked at 248 entries submitted. They selected 107 of which 25 were by young artists.

Eve submitted two works to be considered and has had both work selected to be part of the exhibition.

Awarded the Derbyshire County Council Award…

Eve also recieved one of 7 prizes given to artists for their work. Eve was awarded the Derbyshire County Council Award which included a prize money of £200.
